Why volunteer

Use the skills you already have to help a child feel seen, supported, and encouraged.

How volunteer opportunities work

When an opportunity arises, the team emails interested volunteers with details. Available volunteers reply, and the team shares role-specific instructions, training, and what to expect on event day.

Common volunteer areas

Volunteers may help at any Down 7 Up 8 event, Holiday Hearts, virtual tutoring, Teach Me How, Boys to Men/Princess for a Day Together as One, the event planning team, the fundraising team, and other support roles.
