The founder

Rose Diggs opened her home when children needed a steady place to land.

Rose founded Down 7 Up 8 in 2016 after opening her home to hundreds of children in foster care. Her work has been recognized by the Cobb Chamber's Smyrna Area Council, which named her the 2024 Smyrna Citizen of the Year.
